Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter is in reference to Miss Brittney Danczyk and her application to your teaching position. I have
known Brittney for nearly four years and have met with her individually several times each semester as
her advisor in the TRiO Student Support Services Program. During that time, I have been able to witness
certain character qualities and strengths that will contribute to Brittney being a valuable part of your
school, including her care for young people, her excitement for learning, and her diligent work ethic.
Brittney has a deep desire to love people, especially youth, through guiding them through life and being
there when needed. She wants to see young people learn and grow. She would be the type of teacher
now the students individually and
teaching them life lessons. I have witnessed Brittney interacting with peers on campus during TRiO
cultural events. Brittney makes others feel comfortable. She laughs easily and lightens the atmosphere.
She puts people at ease, which I think is crucial in the education field.
Moreover, Brittney has an excitement and love for learning.
energy she has for learning and then teaching that to young people after returning to campus from a day
of student teaching. Brittney easy going and positive attitude will create an environment where students
question in front of the class.
Brittney will have a positive effect on the learning environment in her classroom.
Finally, Brittney has a diligent work ethic. She desires to do all tasks to the best of her ability and will work
diligently to meet her goals. The math education program has not been an easy road for her. She has
worked harder than any student I have met with to achieve her goals. She will be able to help students
evere through frustrations and
difficult lessons. Brittney will always see a task through to its end and work her hardest throughout the
process. Brittney has always been a reliable and hardworking student.
I believe that Brittney would be a wonderful asset to your school. She will continually strive for excellence
in whatever she does. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like further information.
Sincerely,
Heather Allen, M.A.
