2. Welcome!
Social Media is the next generation of marketing. The goal of
social media marketing is to build a brand, engage your
customers, and expand your reach to consumers. While Sprint is
active on social media - are you? The goal of becoming the social
media advocate for your store is to build YOUR STORES
following. By building a network of people who follow you, you
are actively promoting and taking ownership of your store, and
creating loyalty. Therefore, you are driving business to your
location.
The objectives for using social media for marketing are: growth
of likes, reach, engagement, leads & sales.
3. Demographics, Tags, Hashtags
Using @Tags & #Hashtags are important! By using these,
you are exposing your post to a wider audience.
Did you know.... That as of 2013, 2/3 of Americans did NOT
follow brands on social media? There is ample opportunity
to grow our stores individual brand, and our company
brand.
74% of all adults use social networking, and 1.925 billion
use their mobile devices for social media. *

4. Important Hashtags
You should be using these
hashtags for every posting
that you put on social media.

6. When In Doubt.....,
As a rule of thumb, Sprint Employees should avoid hot
button issues - both on your stores sites, and on your
personal sites if you are actively promoting sprint. If
you have questions about what you can post, the Sprint
Share space is a good place to start.
Hot button issues include politics and religion.
If you have a customer that
requires complex care, or is
complaining... Remember
always be nice, and if you
cannot answer their
questions, direct them to
@SprintCare or
SprintCares@Sprint.com
7. Keep Up with News
Look on I-Connect and Sprint Newsroom to keep up on
latest promotions.
Promote based on incentive. Is Kenny giving concert
tickets for new lines? Talk about how much Sprint
saves off of competitions rate plans. Is there an
Otterbox spiff? Post pictures of Otterbox, and help
drive interest.
8. Keep It Simple
When creating your profiles , try to make your
usernames the same. This makes it easier to find your
profiles across all social networks.
10. All About Snapchat
Demographics
In 2015, Snapchat grew its 18-24 base by 56%, while its 25-34 year old users
increased 103% and, most notably, its over-35 user base grew 84% according
to comScore.
According to Snapchat, 12% of its almost 50 million daily users in the U.S. are
between 35 and 54.
Most of the numbers aren’t surprising given Snapchat’s well-known reach
into the millennial market, but adding older users could be key to growing its
advertising business.

11. All About Snapchat
Marketing Strategies
Ideally, the media that you share over the app should give people a better idea of your
business and what you have to offer. You should always be working to inject personality into
your photos and videos to help people connect to your brand on a “human-like” level. –

Use Snapchat to show off more than just content, but what happens behind the scenes. Ask
different people at your company to contribute to your Snapchat efforts to add some flavor.
Over time, you’ll notice a difference in how quickly your following grows. – Forbes
There are approximately 26 million users in the U.S., and about 400 million snaps are sent
out each day. – Forbes
Using the site for sneak glimpses of new videos of products or information can really create
a talking point and get people interested and chatting about your brand – what more do you
want? – Social Media Today
14. Marketing With Periscope
Ways You Can Grow Your Business
Periscope is going to offer you a unique way to market to you
customer base.
You can find influencers in the mobile technology field, and
ask them questions live - learn more about the brands you sell
and love while educating your customers.
You can offer annual (weekly, monthly, quarterly) ReadyNow
Periscope classes
The biggest thing with periscope is it gives you a chance to
humanize your brand. And while we all work for sprint – you
are trying to create an individual brand for YOUR store. Talk
