First impressions are very important so take a deep breath, enjoy a cup of coffee and
let’s get started! This Job Seeker Handbook is your guide to a successful Cleared Job
Fair and it is yours to keep, so make notes in it to help you in your search.

Some tips to help you today:
 By now you should have your 30-second elevator speech so you can concisely
   communicate your career goals and relevant experience to recruiters. Practice this a
   few times if you’re still a bit shaky.
 Talk to as many employers as you can. Don’t just concentrate on well-known
   companies. Expand your experience to employers that you may not be as familiar
   with. You have nothing to lose and may be surprised at what you find.
 Be positive. Yes you’re probably nervous, but a smile and a firm handshake go a long
   way. Smile and offer your hand when you introduce yourself.

Resume Reviews

These are 5 minute sessions where a job seeker can review their resume directly with
an HR professional. We offer these sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis and they
fill up fast. The reviewer will be breaking from 12:30-1pm.

The Military Intelligence Excepted Career Program (MICECP) is a Headquar-

and Security Command (INSCOM). The MICECP Staff under the authority of

technically skilled, foreign language capable, mobile civilian intelligence work-

Some tips to help you today:  By now you should have your 30-second elevator speech so you can concisely communicate your career goals and relevant experience to recruiters. Practice this a few times if you’re still a bit shaky.  Talk to as many employers as you can. Don’t just concentrate on well-known companies. Expand your experience to employers that you may not be as familiar with. You have nothing to lose and may be surprised at what you find.  Be positive. Yes you’re probably nervous, but a smile and a firm handshake go a long way. Smile and offer your hand when you introduce yourself. Resume Reviews 11am-3pm These are 5 minute sessions where a job seeker can review their resume directly with an HR professional. We offer these sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis and they fill up fast. The reviewer will be breaking from 12:30-1pm.
