How they have marketed and promoted music
The Song we chose- Forever Stuck in our Youth is
from Set it Off's Recent album Duality.
Set it Off have various forms of social media such as
Facebook, twitter and Instagram to market and
promote their album. This has been very successful in
promoting the band and their music because we can
see that they have thousands of followers online.
They have 163,007 likes on their facebook
page
They have over 75.2K followers on Instagram
And over 77.3k followers on twitter
Other than social networking they also have
their official website
They also promote their music by doing gigs and later
meet and greets with fans and I was lucky enough to
meet them when they performed in Camden.

They are very good when it comes to interacting with
their fans that they usually hold weekly contests
online for their fans where the winners are rewarded
In their recent album duality, they created the Duality
album which became their ‘take on the yin and yang
symbol’ that it became the icon associated with the
band and album
They also have marketing campaigns which revolves
around selling merchandise for the band
They also make promo videos like the one below
as a teaser to give their audiences a sneak peak
of what to expect in the album
Finally, the band does a lot of band interviews and
commentaries where they talk about inspirations
when creating their music and fun facts about the
band.

  • 3. Set it Off have various forms of social media such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram to market and promote their album. This has been very successful in promoting the band and their music because we can see that they have thousands of followers online.
  • 4. They have 163,007 likes on their facebook page
  • 5. They have over 75.2K followers on Instagram
  • 6. And over 77.3k followers on twitter
  • 7. Other than social networking they also have their official website

  • 9. They are very good when it comes to interacting with their fans that they usually hold weekly contests online for their fans where the winners are rewarded
  • 10. In their recent album duality, they created the Duality album which became their ‘take on the yin and yang symbol’ that it became the icon associated with the band and album
  • 11. They also have marketing campaigns which revolves around selling merchandise for the band
  • 12. They also make promo videos like the one below as a teaser to give their audiences a sneak peak of what to expect in the album
  • 13. Finally, the band does a lot of band interviews and commentaries where they talk about inspirations when creating their music and fun facts about the band.
