What is Alustone?
The natural stone plate Alustone is an epochal product developed by Foamtech. Alustone
is manufactured with 3mm thin layer of natural marble and aluminum foam panel.
Aluminum foam is a new concept metal that forms sponge shape. The product is made by
special treatment of aluminum ingot with various chemical ingredients. Aluminum foam
performs light weight, acoustic and impact absorption function, inflammability, etc due to the
multiple porous.
Alustone is even better than natural marble. It is lighter and stronger than natural marble.
Due to the light weight, it perfectly reduces delivery cost and improves workability.
With light weight and solidity, it can be used in a wide range of fields including interior,
exterior of buildings, container, transportation vehicles, furniture, elevators, etc.
Alustone is produced with only the finest natural stone from Italy, Spain and other limited
countries, and manufactured by the skilled engineers with the cutting-edge technology. It

12. How to install
Easy to install!
Flatness
Flatness of foundation must be within 3mm per every 2.4m of wall and
3㎜ per 3m of floor.
Treatment
All impurities must be cleaned by inspection before attaching products.
Bonding method(Epoxy type glue for binding stone)
(1) Dry the bonding surface sufficiently(over 1 week in summer, over 2
weeks in other seasons).
(2) Flatten the surface with filling material in case of rough surface. In this
case once plaster area must be less than 2㎡ with trowel.
(3) The products must be attached after checking the condition of adhesion
and hardening of surface and ventilated properly.
Pressure method
(1) Spread thin mortar after plastering flatly than attach Alustone on the
surface. If necessary, spreading mortar on the back side of Alustone
and attaching is possible.
(2) Enhance adhesive power and durability with synthetic resins.
