3. Derek Schuelein is a passionate educator of social studies. He
has been a panelist at Manhattanville College New Teacher
Panel Discussion in 2017. He joined Rye High School as a
Principal in 2020. He is diligently focused on making the best
curriculum and providing PD sessions in an online format.

4. Derek Schuelein has been associated with the National
Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the
New York State School Counselor Association (NYSSCA).

5. Derek Schuelein was a social studies teacher at Jane Addams
CTE High School in NYE DOE. Then he became the assistant
principal of the same school. He is a born leader in the
education sector for development and improvement.

6. Derek Schuelein then became the assistant principal and
coordinated CTE Department at Lindenhurst High School. He
worked hard to assemble a grant-writing team to secure the
Perkins Grant funding to improve the quality of education for
the school.
