Highway take a welcome break. Stop over at Gajraula, some three hours after leaving Delhi-NCR,

You have driven about 260 kms from Delhi-NCR. You are at the foothills of the Himalayas. It’s
time to take the final break at Sunder Khal. It’s time to sip on a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee
or even cold drinks if you like it cold.

6. THE WINDING MOUNTAIN ROAD BECKONS...
You are now driving through the picturesque Patlidun areas of the lower Himalayas. The winding
roads give you the opportunity to witness some of the most astonishing landscapes on both
sides of it.
The winding Hill Drive towards the resort is a lifetime experience which you will rejoice forever.

7. THE FIRST GLIMPSE OF HIMALAYAS...
At Machhod, you will be entertained with a stunning site of the lofty snow clad peaks of the
majestic Himalayas. You can have a break to feast your eyes.

8. GHATTI: WELCOME TO THE HOME STRETCH!
This is the bend from where you leave the Corbett-Ranikhet road at Ghatti and take a U-turn for
EoN Hills.
If you just roll down the windows of your car at this point you will realise that the outside
temperature is already a few notches cooler. In fact, you can start smelling the fresh abundance

12. DAY THREE: MANILA – A HIDDEN GEM NEAR RANIKHET...
Start next day with a small trek to Maa Bhona Devi temple. Enjoy morning tea at the resort. Gear

This day’s travel will take you to Manila, a hidden gem near Ranikhet known for its ancient
temple of Manila Devi, the family deity of the Katyuri dynasty. It is some 85 kms from Ranikhet
and is a quaint little spot that will help you feel really close to Mother Nature. By the way Manila
literally means ‘enchanting’. Hang around till the sunset to experience the magical views of the
golden hued peaks of Himalayas from Trishul to Panchchulli along with the mighty Nanda Devi!

13. DAY FOUR: THE JUNGLE BECKONS...
On the final day of your trip you may want to wake up late. Enjoy a lavish lunch spread as you
opt for a late check-out (depending on room availability) from Essence of Nature. Bid the
Himalayas adieu and start for Jim Corbett.
