Saying that, it was a complicated process. We knew the outcomes we wanted, we knew the look and feel we wanted to go for, but merging strong design principles with a complex educational journey was a learning process for us all. It took a long time to determine how to design and build a transformative, gameful, self-led journey, to unpick the pieces needed and to put it together. The end result, however, is really exciting. And surprisingly simple.
We like how it looks and how it feels, and the beta testers like it too. Proof that careful design can lead to a strong product in a short amount of time.
