2. Internships (Third Year)
List of students
who clear 5th
semester should be
declared online
(website, LinkedIn)
with updated
resumes (technical
skills set, area of
interests)
Alumni gets access
to these profiles
and can start
referring for
Internships (to be
done post 6th
semester)

College to ensure a
30 – 45 days break
between 6th and 7th
semester
(companies do not
allow internships
for lesser period)

3. Projects (Final Year)
Final year
students share
their Project
Ideas online
(before the year
begins)
Alumni gets to
cross question,
assist or guide
them with
regards to
Project Ideas
Alumni share
their start up
ideas online
where final year
students get to
discuss with
them
Farhan Shaikh for Fr.CRCE
If Alumni and BE
students are on
same
wavelength,
they can work
for one year with
this start up idea
which should be
acceptable to
college as a
“Project”

4. Pre-Placement Offer
1. Concept currently missing in CRCE and Mumbai University at large.
2. TPO needs to invite SMEs or Small Scale Industries who would be
more then willing to do away with Training and Development Costs
Company engages
students with a Project
or an Assignment
Students deliver it on
time and as per the
requirements

5. Each One – Reach
One
1. Very cliché line it is, but has stood the test of the time
2. “Each One – Reach One” will ensure quality time of one alumni
for one student only – be it in terms of Guidance , Referrals ,
Industry Exposure , etc

• Alumni working in Branding or Marketing industry should be able to
guide this initiative forward - where to make which kind of noises
and when
• IT biggies, MNCs, Petrochemical Companies – we should be able to
strike a chord with one industry at a time
• Dedicated theme for the annual event where we focus on one
industry for an entire year and continue with it till we the results

7. Industry Exposure
• Monthly lecture (8-10 in
a year) by Alumni with
0-3 years work
experience to guide the
T.E./B.E. students
about the latest
happenings in their
work place or the
hottest technology
around
Quarterly
• One lecture by a
Managerial level Alumni
every three months –
dedicated to a particular
industry
Monthly
• After discussions with
Alumni, college should
be able to provide
options or provisions for
B.E. students to
complete a certification
in the final year of
engineering (if they
decided the way
forward). Many
certifications are
affordable and can be
done in parallel with
lectures
Annually

8. Alumni Membership
Depending on the years from passing out, a variable
membership fees should be levied on Alumni members and
the disposable of the same should be at the hands of Alumni
Alumni committee will have a say in which projects they
would like to invest
Same amount can be invested for sponsoring a fund raiser
dinner annually whose proceeds again will be at the
disposal of Alumni

9. Start Up Lab CRCEignites
With redeveloped college, a space
could be allocated for a start up
friendly atmosphere
Ideas can be screened by Alumni
(using funds from Alumni
membership)
Idea | Alumni
If any Alumni is able to see a
business idea into it, he can have the
option of jumping in as a VC to own
the project
Otherwise, the Alumni Committee
remains the parent owner of the
project which is sponsored by the
committee’s membership fund
