The Abbey School explain how they have used Frog to increase achievement through their point system

2. House Points
The Frog Virtual Learning Environment constantly inspires the school
to develop new ideas and provides the ideal way of bringing these
ideas to life. It provides the ideal ICT solution for sharing our rewards
system with staff, students and parents.
On the VLE we display the current House Point totals so that individual
students are aware of the number of points they have achieved. We
also display the house totals to encourage a certain amount of house
competition.

3. House Points
In a successful attempt to improve the
achievement and motivation of boys, who
up until now did not fully engage with the
Rewards program, we have developed a
number of characters that the students can
collect once they have achieved the
required number of House Points. This has
proved very popular, especially amongst the
boys who now achieve equal numbers of
House Points to the girls for the first time.

5. OfSTED
After a very successful OfSTED inspection late in 2010, The Abbey School although
proud of their achievements had areas to work on.
One of these was Global Awareness. Using Frog the school developed a specialist area
to promote and embed Global Awareness within PSHE.
