This is what the home page of the Medicare.gov looks like when you first access the page.
This is not a comprehensive list, but some of the more frequently used tools/resources. You can see all that is available to you by going to www.medicare.gov
Click on “Compare”
Click on “Find & Compare Plans”
Click on “Begin General Search”
Answer each of the questions as they apply to you
Click on “continue”
“Enter my drugs”-Enter in the name of medication, dose, amount of pills, how often you fill your scripts.
Drug ID & Password-if you started a plan comparison already or did one the previous year, you can use these fields to enter in username/pw
“Continue to drug list”-a list of all the part d plans available (sorted by cheapest plan)-for people who don’t take any meds)
Enter name of drug-will come up with a search.
Double check dose, quantity, and frequency for each of your prescriptions and then click “continue” for the next step.
Click on 3 plans you are interested in to compare and contrasts costs/coverage
