The academics complex was created as a modern icon for the campus that could hold numerous areas of program
elements in a single unified manner. The three buildings of the academics complex are contained under the super-
roof structure and linked by the large curved circulation front piece. The courtyard that internally links these buildings
serves as a multipurpose and dynamic outdoor area for students and faculty.
The academic complex holds the College of Nursing, College of Applied Medical Sciences, University
Administration, University Center & Deanship, and Research facilities. These programs vary greatly in size, function,
access abilities and gender usage. However, all are link by the roof and courtyard spaces.
The major public spaces of the academics colleges are located along the curved front piece of the building.
Bridges provide systems for connection, linking public spaces to activate more distant areas while tying to the

Crystallisation Plant (CCP), Compaction Plant (CP) and Coarse Carnalite, Jordan. Supervision of a new state- of-
the-art Cold Crystallization Plant (CCP) as part of the expansion works required to reach a total Potash production
of 2.45 million tons per year. The new CCP decomposes, under controlled conditions, the carnalite harvested from

fertiliser. Works include several large tanks and process vessels (crystallizers and thickeners); specialised custom

and cooler plant, gas scrubbers, etc; and extensive specialised process piping to transfer the carnalite and potash
slurries between process units.

• Performs visual and dimension inspections for welds and material.
• Working in a/m projects According to AWS D1.1, ASME, EN, API650, API620 and ASME B31.3.
• Checking welding book (WPS, PQR, and Welder Certifications according to the relevant codes).
• Checking condition of welding equipments of these welding processes: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW,
and SAW.
• Classifying and verifying the conformance of base metals and filler metals identifications.
• Report contractor deficiencies by/ with making and raising NCRs wherever necessary & ensures that these
are finalized.
• Perform, review, approve and authorize the quality - / inspection - / NDT documents (like PQP, ITP and
NDT reports).
• Ensures proper storage and preservation of materials and sensitive items and conducting the material
receiving inspections with reviewing its dimension, visual inspection, code marking and material test
certificates according to applicable working codes ASME, ASTM, API or EN.
