satisfied with her job, that is the case of
Clara who is in charge of a bank
department with benefits and enough
salary to have a stable and secure life with
her family
Where the employee is not satisfied. This is
the case of Mariana that feel stuck and
without opportunities within her position
in the area that had been placed to her.

3. 2. What is the role of Human Resources
in the face of the facts presented?
Argue your answer.
The task of the human resources is
to have a format, to evaluate and
measure the performance of the
people, so that according to the
results determine who deserves to
be promoted to a higher position.
What should have been done, was
to promote Mariana for her high
performance, but before that is
necessary to request a meeting to
discuss it.
4. 3. Is the Human Resources Department acting with
justice? Justify your answer.
• The human resources department
did not act with justice in this
situation, because they did not
know how to value Mariana's good
performance despite being one of
the best employees. Just because
she always solved the problems or
knew how to answer questions that
were generated, they decided to
always keep her in the same
position. As a result, Mariana chose
to look for another job where she
was really given the opportunity to
be promoted in the future

6. 5. Was the attitude of Clara Pérez correct?
We consider that her attitude was not correct, since she did not give Mariana the
opportunity to develop herself. She wanted to keep her as her assistant forever, being
selfish because Clara didn’t think about her growth and goals. Every boss must take
into account that every worker wants to be promoted, therefore according to the
performance of the person and attitude, the bosses must always be willing to change
and provide opportunities.
7. 6. What would you recommend to the different parties
to overcome this situation? Justify your answer.
Marina: take the new opportunity to work at the Central Bank, because it will
make her to grow professionally, take her out of her comfort zone and she will
be able to develop in a new work environment in which she will feel more
secure.
Clara: Do a self-analysis of her personality and attitude and how that affects
the work environment of the company, communication and teamwork. If this
person wants Mariana to stay in the Bank, she should offer her an increase in
salary or another benefits that incentivize her stay with an excellent work
performance.
Human resources: review the performance of each employee of the bank,
analyze the problems that prevent them from being productive and establish
solutions to them, create an interview for each employee to know their job
satisfaction within the company, know their ambitions and desires to
overcome or which is their long-term vision in the company.
