safety and reliability, low coruption, clean environment…
Educational: Good quality education (?), English
programmes, good infrastructure, some internationally
competitive fields such as ICT, Music, Design, Forestry,
Teacher Education

6. Marketing Finnish
HE 2
Weaknesses
Environment: Small and unknown country,
geographically distant, difficult language to learn,
weather (?), no top ranked HEIs (U Hel #72 in ARWU),
no colonial past….
Educational: Inexperience both system and HEI level
especially in marketing, lack of foreign staff, limited
possibilities to be employed after graduation in Finland,
mature or satured markets with big players….
