I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the people who have been
instrumental in the successful completion of this project.
I would like to show my greatest appreciation to my subject mentor Prof. Sampada
Naiksatam. I feel motivated and encouraged every time I attend her meeting. Without her
encouragement and guidance this project would not have been materialized.
The guidance and support received from coordinator, all the classmates and library
Authorities at BMCC, was vital for the success of the project.

5. INTRODUCTION
Currently the bank depends on its manual processing for
executing its daily transactions. The transactions are being done in
paper format which consumes lot of time of banks as well as
customers. This affects the overall business of the bank and prevents
it from growing into a large organization. Handling of large-scale
transactions of banks on a day to day basis becomes difficult without
a proper computerized system. It also allows human error to creep in
which may result in loss of money as well as time.
6. SCOPE OF THE SYSTEM
This system is very reliable & efficient as compared to manual
system. Data can be rechecked before submitting to database.
It will result in fewer mistakes.
This system provides large amount of storage of information. The
necessary details of patient & doctors etc. are stored in database
which also helps in easy retrieval of data.
Data security is maintained properly.
Large amount of data can be processed quickly with ease.
It will help in preparing periodic reports.
7. PROPOSED SYSTEM
Proposed systemuses front-end as VisualBasic 6.0 and back-end as MS-
ACCESS.
Systemis User friendly.
Less time consuming.
Easy to maintain records.
No loss of Data.
Storing & generating of reports are Easy.
8. Fact Finding Techniques
To study any system the analyst needs to do collect facts and all
relevant information. The facts when expressed in quantitative form
are termed as data. The success of any project is depended upon the
accuracy of available data. Accurate information can be collected with
help of certain methods/ techniques. These specific methods for
finding information of the system are termed as fact finding
techniques. Interview, Questionnaire, Record View and
Observations are the different fact finding techniques used by the
analyst. The analyst may use more than one technique
for investigation.
FEASIBILITY STUDY
Three tests of feasibility study were undertaken for this project. They
are viz:
a.) Operational Feasibility.
b.) Technical feasibility.
Operational Feasibility:
To test the Operational feasibility of the proposed system the
following standards were used via:
Does there is enough support for the users with the current system?
Do the users have any problem with the current system?
9. Will the proposed system causes any difficulty?
As the demand enhanced user friendly system has directly
come from the user. There is no question of support to the user. User
already has a sound knowledge of "Ms-Access" And "Visual Basics”.
Being GUI there is no need for training the user .The next point to be
taken is that will the system cause any difficulty. But to implement a
system, it passes through a series of investigation session thereby
considering whether the system is adequate to the users need or not
therefore the system is operationally feasible.
Technical Feasibility:
While considering the technical feasibility some basic queries,
which are asked by the organization, must be answered:
Will the proposed system provide adequate sequence to enquiries
Regardless of the number of location or more?
Can the system be upgraded if further development arises?
Does the proposed equipment have the technical capacity to hold the
data required using the new system?
Are there technical guarantee of accuracy, reliability Exactness if
access data security etc?
The manpower required for computerized system is less than
in the early manual system. Also the project needs nothing new
Hardware /Software as it is compatible with existing system .the
requirement for system is to purchase Visual Basics and Ms-Access
packages.

24. ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS
ADVANTAGES
The system is very simple in design and to implement. The system
requires very low and basic system resources and the system will
work in almost all configurations. It has got following features:-
Security of data.
Ensure data accuracy’s.
Proper control of the higher officials.
Reduce the damages of the machines.
Minimize manual data entry.
Minimum time needed for the various processing.
Greater efficiency.
User friendliness and interactive.
Minimum time required.
LIMITATIONS
The System needs to maintain a large amount of information.
Every information needs to be maintained manually in registers.
Employee has to remember all the criteria that have to be
satisfied by Customer to hold the card. The Employee may
sometimes go wrong or mistakenly skipped some important
information which may create problem to bank.
25. It becomes tedious to find some information.
It becomes tedious for Management to maintain employee’s
performance manually.
The basic problem of the current system is maintaining data.
This system (manual) is time consuming & tedious.
Over-utilization of space for storage of students details, fees
transaction.
FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
Even though this project provide an easy to operate system of
banking. It does not contain some features like e-banking etc.
The best result can be obtain only when a single user operates it
and all the records are maintain by him.
This system can be made more advance as the requirements of
user.
As all the basic needs are fulfilled of a bank to be operated it
does not contain all the features of bank, in our next version we
will try our best to fulfill all bank needs.
