The document provides instructions for searching for journal articles using Web of Science in 3 steps: 1) Go to the University of Cape Town library website and select "Databases (A-Z)" then click on "W" and choose "Web of Science", 2) Enter search terms and limit the search to articles published between 2008-2014 by clicking "Search", 3) Results are displayed and can be sorted by relevance or date; clicking the "Full Text" link directs the user to obtain the full text article.

3. Hover your mouse over ‘Search & Find’

4. Choose ‘Databases (A-Z)’

5. Click on ‘W’ to find Web of Science

• Click on the link.

Click the
• Full Text link & then the
• SFX link – tells you the availability of the article
in full text

13. Tells you that the full text is available
Click the GO button to find the article

14. Click ‘PDF Full Text’ to find the article
