“Ready, Set, Change:” Increasing Project Success
Through Effective Change Management
Brian Wilkerson
February 21st 8:30am – 12pm
One of the key measures of project management success is whether or not the project achieves
its intended outcomes. This often depends on things far beyond scope, schedule, and budget.
Often a successful project outcome depends on managing change effectively within the
organization. Managing change goes far beyond effective communications and a good training
strategy - it requires engaging stakeholders at a deeper level and constantly answering questions
for them such as "what's in it for me" and "how will this impact me"? Most important, it requires
using the right levers to drive change in the direction the project wants it to go.
This highly interactive workshop will provide attendees with a set of practices and tools including:
-Methods for assessing change needs
-Approaches to developing change strategies
-Tools for addressing the right levers to drive change.
