PROFILE & CAREER SUMMARY
From the beginning of his career, Mr. Trompette preferred the management and organization aspects in
general, willing to optimize the use of Human Resources (HR Governance) and technological (ICT-
Governance) resources with regard to business objectives.
In '96, terminating a 3rd cycle at the Solvay Business School, he has been the first on the market to
propose a "change management methodology”, by creating his own consulting Cy: Change Management
& Consulting Cy.
“Through it, he had the opportunity to manage all aspects related to transformation process in
organisations: such as technology & physical changes, HR & process enhancement. He had
also to provide advice & coaching on HR client sides such as: D'Ieteren, GIB-Group, UCB,
Quick-Intl, Credit Agricole, and FOREM...
In a first step CMC developed a specific expertise managing physical change, such as
company transfer without any impact on the business activities. This approach included so
much logistics aspects, communication & space management, than ICT components.
But quickly, HR attitudes facing changes get the priority in a change management process.
Also, never stopping to learn, Joseph Trompette also followed a long term & special training in
Human Behaviour. Added to all his previous academic training & expertise’s across the world,
he got this unavoidable added-value in the art of managing people facing the changes.”
As senior consultant, managing projects on customer sides for the last 15 years, he always used to sticks
to ITIL & COBIT norms. As project management guidelines methodology, mostly CMMI, & MS-
Project are his usual tool & methodology. But, when needed & to respect client’s standards, he can use
alternate one’s, applying client’s methodology.
Through all the consultancy mandates, he often participates at the elaboration &/or implementation of Cy
ICT strategy 5 years Plan. He also had to apply the Corporate Governance rules in large companies
through projects management, or as manager Ad-interim.
Within the framework of the expansion of an international consulting Cy (DMR/Fujitsu), Mr. Trompette
has been responsible for the coordination and organization of the Human Resources Management. The
main objective was to structure the selection & recruitment, the assignments at the operational level, build
jobs descriptions, elaborate careers paths & talents development, & establish individual performances &
goals measurement.
During several years, he also worked as ICT Advisor & Project Manager for the World Bank, mostly
in Africa and in Asia.
More recently, regarding crises effect, he lead missions in alternate domains, such as socio-economic
analyses & auditing taxes conditions for investors in the following countries: Tunisia, Morocco; He also
process a large recruitment projects in Ukraine, and he lead a special “western style management”
training plan in Russia.
Since the year 2005, as analyst, he also collaborates with Banking & Finance review on a free-lance
base.
