AWC is a fun, engaging lifestyle program that helps foster a positive wellbeing culture within your organisation.
The program creatively targets the key issues facing workplaces today. It harnesses social dynamics and peer interaction to offer a program that will positively engage your organisation to influence healthy behaviours.
The core component is the 10 week challenge that focuses on daily decision making on key determinants of health which have a long term effect on the individual’s health outcome. The team environment encourages team work, competition and personal improvements constantly setting new targets and incentives to improve key aspects of health.
Organisations of all sizes can benefit from taking part in the Active Workplace Challenge which is the first program to specifically target all key modifiable behaviours: physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol and stress.

6. What is the Active Workplace Challenge?
AWC is a team based 10 week lifestyle challenge, designed to establish and sustain
healthy habits in the workplace and at home.
AWC focuses on creating an employee driven wellbeing culture through an
engaging social platform that harnesses team dynamics and encourages sharing
success.
Employees form teams of five and their goal over the 10 weeks is to unlock all 15
Active levels by earning points for healthy behaviours, weekly challenges and
bonus workouts.
Participants can earn over 40 trophies based on the health information they enter
each day. Because we take data across all lifestyle behaviours each participant
will be winning trophies specific to their habits.
By looking at the whole person we can help reduce your workplace's risk of
musculoskeletal and psychological injuries and make a positive change to your
culture.
We address all modifiable health behaviours identified by the World Health
Organisation to give your workplace a balanced wellbeing program.
"The wellness culture in our office has improved with other staff asking us what we’re doing, commenting
on how happy we look and what can they do, so we have used our time during the challenge to invite other
staff members to join us on walks, or stretching and doing some of the exercises. The entertainment value
alone at times has been hilarious.” – Gina, J.J. Richards & Sons

8. What sets us apart
Wellbeing champions shine – The social platform combined with the team challenges creates
champions within your workplace that actively encourage those around them.
Friendly competition – Competition is fun and the points system, challenges and trophies
encourage the healthy behaviours that will help employees reach their health and fitness goals.
Team work – Team members are encouraged to take responsibility to make sure that everyone is
succeeding and meeting goals on both a personal level and as a group. Having the support and
motivation of a team means employees are more likely to stay committed to the program until
the very end.
Game play – Getting healthy takes effort. But when you turn health into a game, it feels more
like fun and less like work. Games are powerful motivators that are proven to change
behaviours. By participating in a wellness program that incorporates interactive games and
friendly competition, employees are motivated to challenge themselves and their colleagues to
form healthy habits.
Fun for everyone - Everyone has different wellbeing goals, not all are weight loss and diet
related. This program allows employees to work on areas of their own wellbeing that are
important to them, and be rewarded for it. No matter what their goals are, there is something in
the AWC to lead everyone along the path to enhanced wellbeing.
9. Feature: My points entry
Each day participants enter their daily habits to earn
points for their team. Once a participant reaches
the Australian health guidelines the box lights up
green to give instant feedback.
Over 40 trophies can be won based on each healthy
behavior.
Entries take 30-60 seconds and after week 1 days are
