When I teach I want students to learn and stay
on task but I want learning to be self motivated.
Children have an innate desire to learn and are
curious so with guidance children could have
the potential to learn beyond grade level.
I do believe teachers do need to help children
learn and acquire greater skills but the students
are capable of learning anything with proper
instruction and help.
 Humans gain knowledge through their
    experiences and ideas
 It is interaction between human experience,
    behaviors and reflexes.
 Through accommodations and assimilations
    students can create new knowledge
 Child are active
    learners and do not
    need motivation from
    adults to learn
 Children are
    constructing new
    knowledge as they
    move though different
    cognitive stages
 Children assimilate
    experiences to change
    their knowledge base http://www.notablebiog

 Learning is an active
    process in which the
    learner constructs ew
    idea or concepts
    based on his current

    to reflect on their
    strategies and create
    activities than combine
    concrete and practical

    lives
 School is a community
    that represents a larger
