PERIPHERAL INTERFACE CONTROLLER OR POPULARLY KNOWN AS THE PIC MICROCONTROLLER
IS USED IN THIS PROJECT.
PIC16F887 IS USED IN THE PROJECT FOR ALL THE LOGICAL AND MEMORY OPERATIONS IN THE
PROJECT.
PICKIT2 IS USED TO INTERFACE THE CONTROLLER TO THE PC AND TO BURN THE SOFTWARE TO
THE MICROCONTROLLER.

•LM35 IS USED AS THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR THE FIRE ALARM SYTEM.
•4 PIN PUSH BUTTONS ARE USED IN A 4*3 MATRIX TO ENTER THE PASSWORD ON
THE LOCK.
•GSM MODULE IS USED TO SEND THE REQUIRED MESSAGE TO THE DESIRED
PHONE NUMBERS.
•LCD DISPLAY SHOWS THE PASSWORD ENTERED.
•THE LEDS SHOW THE WHETHER THE PASSWORD ENTERED IS CORRECT OR NOT.
•THE BUZZER IS FOR THE ALARM TO RING TO ALERT PEOPLE IF THEY ARE INSIDE.

THE REQUIREMENT OF A SECURITY SYSTEM IS PRETTY NECESSARY IN OUR DAY
TO DAY LIFE AS CRIME AND ACCIDENTS IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY. WE NEED TO
HAVE SECURITY PLUS THE INFORMATION OF SUCH ADVERSE ACCIDENTS MUST
BE BROUGHT TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF AUTHORITIES AND CONCERNED PEOPLE
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT WILL BE BENEFITING THE PEOPLE IN LONG TERM AS
HOUSEHOLD WILL BE MORE SECURE.
JUST IMAGINE THE POWER ONE MIGHT FEEL WHEN THEN CAN KEEP A TAB ON
THEIR PROPERTY EVEN WHEN THEY WILL BE MILES OR COUNTRIES APART.

IMPLEMENTED AT COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES LIKE MALLS, INDUSTRIAL PLACES AND
HOUSEHOLDS.
INDUSTRIES CAN PREVENT MILLIONS OF LOSSES, SPECIALLLY THE SMALL SCALE FACTORIES
WHICH CAN’T AFFORD HIGH COST SECURITY SYTEM.
THE HOUSEHOLDS AS EXPLAINED EARLIER CAN KEEP THEIR HOME SECURE WITH SUCH USE.
21. FUTURE ENHANCEMNET
THERE IS HUGE SCOPE OF IMPROVEMENT IN ENHANCEMENT IN THIS PROJECT.
A FULLY AUTOMATED HOME SYSTEM CAN BE DEVELOPED SLOWLY AND
THOROUGHLY.
SENSORS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED TO CHECK WHERE THE ELECTRICITY IS BEING
WASTED, AND CONTROL THE WASTAGE.
IN SHORT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS CAN BE CONTROLLED BY ELECTRONIC DEVICES.
KITCHEN AUTOMATION WHICH IS ON RISE CAN BE INTEGRATED IN ITS FUTURE
ENHANCEMENT.
