FUTURE with Going to
� We use going to to express future actions, plans, predictions and
intentions. When we are saying what someone else has decided to do, we also
use going to.
� It is used with the following time expressions:
soon
shortly
in a few hours
tonight
tomorrow
in a few days
next weekend
next month
next year
� It is formed with the Simple Present of the verb TO BE + going to + bare infinitive of the
main verb.
