Getting Things Done - GTD! Is surely important for work or at home. I started to investigate what I do & what others recommend to GTD. This is summorised in a presentation together with my own conclusions!

What’s the next action? If it is

Put meetings and date specific
actions on your Calendar.
All other tasks go on
”next action” list.
Less urgent tasks go into a
”dated tickler file” or on a
”someday maybe” list.
4 – Check - Review
Look over your calendar &
”next action” list daily.
Review all projects,
delegated tasks &
”someday maybe lists” weekly,
to keep them up to date.

8. Getting things done; GTD! – Summery…

• I do not think some words put together or acronyms can be owned by a
company or a person… I acknowledge some authorities,
and examples but I get things done, I just do it!
• I have read some about this topic & tried to summarize in some pages;
• Much about GTD according to me is to have the abilities to;
Focus, Prioritize and Execute the PDCA cycle daily, weekly, monthly…
• The bits and pieces that are constantly not top priorities should be
delegated or binned!
• If the end results for every PDCA cycle is not good enough then there is a
need for re-focus & re-plan with different view set – Maybe your best
Colleague, Boss, Children, Wife or Friend! – Remember to have fun!
