Industrial Sector - THESEIS», Acronym THESEIS is being implemented
within the LEONARDO DA VINCI Programme.

3. Is THESEIS necessary?
Eco-industry is an evolving sector. Need for trained workers
New legislation, New Technologies, New Activities’ fields
(i.e. rehabilitation of contaminated soil operations).
Lack of training and educational material on the Health and
Safety issues regarding environmental protection operations

2. Investigate the National Qualification Frameworks for the workers in eco-
industry sector:
The second survey shows that none partner have found a National
Qualification Framework for Eco-Industry and especially in wastewater and
solid waste management. None NQF for mentioned areas has been finished in
participating countries so far.

The THESEIS training material is an interactive platform, based on a 3d
perspective layout of a realistic plan of a waste water treatment unit with
graphic models vector designed on flash technology.

The English version of THESEIS VET model is already available at the
platform and until June 2013 it will be available in all participating partners’
languages (GR, BE, DE, FI, CZ, PL, SE, BG).

23. Enhancing the acceptance of the produced model:
THESEIS Forthcoming Actions and Deliverables
Training on Health and Safety in the Environmental Industrial Sector - THESEIS
 Pilot implementation – Validation of VET model. Pilot testing will allow
members of the target audience to try the produced material prior to each full
deployment in order to give feedback on its features and functions. A pilot
testing report will be prepared containing a detailed description about the
implementation of the demo VET model in the partner countries (process
steps, participants, evaluation results, conclusions and recommendations).
 Organization of demonstration workshops for the evaluation and
improvement of training platform. The informative workshops will be
organized by each partner country in the framework of pilot testing of the
online material (demo VET model).
