Vulnerable demographic
Most IELTS ‘customers’ are citizens of developing nations who aim to secure a work visa
or residency visa. This youthful demographic is severely vulnerable to exploitation.
Extortion and racketeering
If a person wishes to check that there is no clerical error on their IELTS Test Report Form
for one score, they must pay IDP Education $176 to have their entire exam remarked. If a
test taker requests to have one sub-section of their exam remarked, they must pay IDP
Education to have their entire three-hour exam content remarked. IDP Education use
racketeering to create a fake service that generates millions of dollars in revenue, annually.
IELTS candidate profiling and examiner fraud
IDP Education Australia demand that registrants advise them what exam scores they need
and why (Questions 16 and 17). IELTS’s most senior examiners double mark exam papers,
and use fake reduced scores for writing and speaking to fail most migration visa applicants.
