2. THE LEADING LADY VISIONARY & HOST
Larvetta L. Smith is an award winning marketing strategist,
life & business branding coach, innovative speaker, and
social entrepreneur. When Larvetta is not courting
corporate clients, at her vanguard marketing and corporate
events company, L3 Eventeurs, she serves as the new voice
of radio for the small business community. She hosts Let’s
Get Down To Business, a radio show that fuels small
businesses into big brands. Larvetta holds several awards for
her ability to illustrate and promote change. In 2011,
Larvetta was awarded one of Verizon Wireless’ Everyday
Heroes. And most recently, Larvetta was named one of
Chicago’s Top Game Changers Under 40 by Ariel
Investment and WVON.
4. WHAT IS LEADING LADIES
INTERNATIONAL?
Produced by L3 Eventeurs, this series of all day presentations and events are
designed to cultivate relationships, expose dreams, offer support and bestow
valuable information to induce the next level of success and purpose amongst
women of distinction.
The premier installment debuted in Chicago on Saturday, May 1, 2010, with an
afternoon luncheon at the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) featuring a local
panel of relevant, thought-provoking, successful women. Attendees
experienced compelling stories of faith and determination wrapped in drive,
vision and triumph.
There was a keynote address given by Mortgage Guru/Financial Coach Lynn
Richardson, who spoke about money, credit and financial security.
Corporate vendors flanked the room engaging guests with mobile internet
services along with other personal development vendors and sponsors building
new customer relationships.
The Leading Ladies International Conference is growing in services and
offerings and is targeting certain key markets to offer their constituents a wider
array of programming. Other host cities in consideration are: Atlanta, Charlotte and
Detroit.
5. WHY LEADING LADIES INTERNATIONAL?
After feeling the rippling effect of the bad economy and witnessing the emotional and financial
damage it had done to me, I decided to take action. The action was to create a platform that would not
only empower women but also highlight successful women in their respective fields. Being an industry
professional for over 15 years and an entrepreneur for close to 15 years. I felt it was necessary to expose
leading women who had made an impact in my life both professionally and personally. I always state ‘I am
only as good as the people around me.’
So, I called my leading ladies to the table and they responded with a resounding YES! Four years later,
this local idea has now blossomed into an international brand and have included: Lynn Richardson, Financial
Guru/Speaker; Amy Hilliard, The Comfort Cake Company; Monique Caradine, TV Personality/Speaker; Erica

In its first year, we are highlighting five young high
school girls who are leading academically, socially,
creatively as catalysts of change within their
communities and/or globally. The selected high
school girls will serve as our hosts at the conference
to pay it forward as leading ladies.
In its 5th year, it provides a lively emerging heritage of
informational discussions, demonstrations, practical
advice, coaching, networking, engagement, and
lifestyle shifting applications to women of substance.
It will feature an amazing lineup of speakers who will
help ignite our audience and guide them on the path
to live the life they’ve always dreamed of. Panel
discussions will be aimed at motivating and inspiring
our audience with open, candid and honest dialogue
in an atmosphere of fellowship and camaraderie.
