• According to D.S Cohan – Quality of work life is a process of joint decision
making, collaborations and building mutual respect between management
and employees.
• QWL programs usually emphasize development of employee skills ,the
reduction of occupational stress and the development of more co-operative
labour - management relations.
• It is not only improving at the job content but also moving toward
participant management.

Work life balance - It helps the employees to manage the competing
demands of home and work

there family members for setting up free counseling sessions

5. OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
• To study about adequate fair and compensation of the employee
provided in the organization.
• To study about the factors affecting the job in the organization.
• To analyze the quality of work life of employees related to various
factors.
• To understand the effectiveness of social integrity among the
employees.
6. SCOPE OF THE STUDY
• Compensation - Reward for work should be above a minimum
standard for life
• Health and Safety - Working environment should be free Via,
Cleanliness , risk free work, Pollution free atmosphere.
• Job security - Should be there so that employees are not under a
concern for their future.
• Social integration - Workers should feel sense of identity with
organization and develop feeling of self-esteem.
7. NEED FOR THE STUDY
• To measure satisfaction level of the employee.
• To evaluate the attitudinal and behavioral symptoms
towards organization.
• To improve the organizational climate.
• To increase productivity, quality and quantity of output.
8. RESEARCH DESIGN
• Primary Data - The data collected from various garments industries by
using Simple random sampling method.
• Secondary data - The data was gathered form journal ,newspaper, annual
report,website,magazine
• Sample size - 100 sample has been chosen for the study.

Correlation.
9. FINDINGS
• There is no significant relationship between Recreational facilities and
overall satisfaction.
• There is no significant relationship between trade union and overall
satisfaction.
• There is no significant relationship between grievance handling and
overall satisfaction.
• There is no significant relationship between wage policies ,employee
policies and overall satisfaction.
• To test hypothesis Chi-square test applied.
• Hence Null hypothesis is accepted.
10. SUGGESTION
• Employees are in a need to participated in decision making process
which could affect their life.
• Medical facilities in the organization can be improved to provide
healthy life style to the employees in the organization.
• Opportunity for growth is important for achievement – Oriented
employees.
• The compensation level should be developed based on the economic
growth.
11. CONCLUSION
• This research process is an attempt to study about the quality of work life
of employee in garments industries,tirupur
• Through this study we came to know about the importance of welfare and
other facilities which associated with employee satisfaction.
• Employee satisfaction is a key to organization success.
