This document provides information on Cetrix Solutions' school digital transformation solution, which aims to fully enable digital learning in schools. The solution includes five main components: consulting and planning, educator training, physical environment setup, device management systems, and digital content and access technology. It discusses the classroom technologies that are part of the physical environment component, including interactive LED panels for collaboration, sound field systems for enhanced audio, and visualizers for digitizing paper materials. The goal of the solution is to transform school culture and empower students and educators in the digital learning landscape.
2. Rapid advances in mobile communication and internet technologies
during past decade have created a new era that is best
characterized by speed, deep collaboration, and rich information
content. The convenience and portability of mobile computing, the
networking ability and richness of content of social media, and the
flexibility and expressive power of interactive multimedia systems
has transformed the way we work, communicate, entertain and
learn. Education is one of the areas that have the greatest potential
to benefit from the advantages of the new era. But with great
benefits, there always comes great challenges as well.
Although the idea of a digital or smart classroom have been around
for years, few school systems have found a way to create a fully
enabled and sustainable digital ecosystem. The reason is teaching
with technology is complicated considering the challenges newer
technologies present to educators.
The physical environment provides the necessary tools for the transformation activities to move
forward. After successful implementation of the road map, these tools create a sustainable
environment for education in the new era of digital content and interactive training. CETRIX is
responsible for providing the equipment and services in this component of the solution.
At the core of School Digital Transformation Solution are the hybrids and tablets from CETRIX.
These are the everyday tools of the students and teachers for reading, writing, communicating,
collaborating and etc.
At the classroom level, the Interactive LED Panel is the hub for classroom collaboration.
Complemented with a high resolution desktop visualizer, it provides the most engaging
educational experience for students as well as teachers. CETRIX tops the classroom technology
with an advanced Sound Field System to enhance the classroom audio quality in order to make
sure the lectures are audible throughout the classroom.
CETRIX has added classroom control software from Lightspeed Systems to complete the digital
classroom package with one of industry’s easiest and most versatile software for assessing
student progress and increasing student engagement in class.
Realizing the fact that introducing computing devices alone cannot help schools to adapt to the new
era, CETRIX, in collaboration with its partners, has put together a complete Digital Transformation
Solution for schools. The solution encompasses consulting, planning, ICT systems and hardware,
educational and management software, training and support. It consists of 5 components:
1. Consulting and Planning
2. Educator Training
3. Physical Environment
4. Device Management System
5. Digital Content and Access Technology

Transforming learning in schools requires changing the culture of the classroom. A school’s
culture consists of the traditions, beliefs, policies and practices of teachers, administrators,
students and staff members. Transforming school culture entails promoting new ways for
teachers and students to interact, changing the conception of what constitutes an effective
learning environment, and adopting new rules, policies and practices for the conduct of
teaching and learning. Students, parents, school staff at all levels, and other community
members need to be actively involved in developing, supporting and maintaining a
transformed learning culture.
Considering the above, CETRIX places special emphasis on consultation and planning at
the initiation stage of a new school digitalization program. We work through our industry
leading partners to assist the schools in preparing and implementing a road map for
transforming their educational system and to bring about the necessary cultural changes.
Implementing the digital transformation road map starts with training the
educators. They are the most effective elements in changing the school culture,
and are the real implementers of the road map. When the new policies and
support from school administration is in place, the teachers and educators are
the real force behind the transformation. This crucial task is carried out by the
Tablet Academy , a prominent UK-based education consultancy and teacher
training organization with a global customer base.
All components of the School Digital Transformation Solution work together in order to transfer
the digital educational content to the students. There is a vast amount of content on the internet,
but for a systematic work such as curriculum creation and maintenance, it is necessary to have the
tools that make the job easier for the educators to create their curriculum and enhance it when
needed.
CETRIX uses various curriculum building and cloud-based digital content access software from its
partners. We work with schools in the planning stage for deciding which software system is the
most suitable. Then the partner will work directly with the school to create a tailored software
solution, and continue to provide services to enhance the access and educational content to the
students and educations.
Since the mobile devices used in the classroom make up the core of any digital school
solution, their management and maintenance is an essential element in sustaining the
high level of activities in a digital classroom. For this purpose, CETRIX has included
ChargeMaster tablet charging carts and cabinets to its solution. These chargers provide
long hours of reliable power for all classroom devices in one secure and lockable place,
protected from accidental damage, dust or other elements harmful for mobile devices.
But no school mobile solution is complete without a Mobile Device Management
software, and our solution uses one of the best MDMs in the market by Lightspeed
Systems. It is easy to learn, configure and use, and scales up to district level for a unified
management of all mobile devices in a school district.

Classroom learning is based on communication. Improved
sound wave distribution throughout the classroom and
enhanced speech intelligibility is essential for transferring
knowledge and assessing the quality of learning. With High
Definition classroom audio, students and educators benefit
from nearly perfect sound reproduction which leads to
improved student comprehension and learning.
CETRIX School Digital Transformation Solution includes an
advanced HD sound system by Cetacea Sound specially
designed for classrooms. The system includes a single-
speaker solution for complete classroom-wide sound
enhancement by creating a Sound Field covering the
whole space of the room. The system comes with wireless

to freely move around the classroom and focusing on
interaction with the students.
Classroom Sound Field System
The available digital educational content provide a wide range
of educational material at the reach of the educators. However,
this in no way eliminates the use of paper books and notes
in teaching. This necessitates the use of document cameras
and digital visualizers that instantly turn paper material into
digital content that can be seen and manipulated on the large
interactive touch panel.
CETRIX visualizers enable educators to make full use of their
paper-based content by instantly digitizing and transferring
images of paper documents or even objects under study to
the large interactive touch panel where the content can be
manipulated and displayed to the whole classroom.

5. Device Management
One of the challenges of using mobile devices in a
schools is control and management of those devices.
This is done by a Mobile Device Management (MDM)
software. CETRIX School Digital Transformation
Solution includes Mobile Manager MDM software
from Lightspeed Systems. It is a school-focused MDM
that facilitates control and management of 1-to-1 and
BYOD mobile devices at the school and district levels.
In addition to basic management abilities, Mobile
Manager enables schools to manage device policies
and apps, Control features, push and lock users into
apps, geo-locate lost devices, and report on use and
inventory with policies for groups, individuals, and on-
and off-site use.
Mobile Devices Management
The hardware side of every school’s mobile device
management is the charging cart or cabinet that allows for
volume charging and safe keeping of tablets and laptops. In
addition, they are the best way to maintain the devices in a
ready-for-use condition at all times.
Designed especially for CETRIX educational tablets and
hybrids, ChargeMax carts and cabinets are part of CETRIX
School Digital Transformation Solution. They provide an
efficient, affordable, and easy means for schools to securely
store and charge mobile computing devices.
