6. Bermuda’s myth
• Oceanic zone where numerous disappearances were indicated.
(Ex: Flight19 - USS CYCLOPS)
• Its second designation is Devil's Triangle.
• Estimation 190 ships and 80 planes had disappeared.
• The number of disappearances isn’t so important in front of
following risks :

- The importance of hydrate and methane’s deposits and the
tectonic activity of the region.
- The weather, chaotic and unpredictable conditions under these
latitudes.
8. Flight 19
• The case of the Flight 19 is the most known. Indeed it is the
disappearance which aroused the biggest interest.
• The disappearance of a squadron of five fighter-bombers.
• On December 5th, 1945 near the Florida.
• The base of Strong Lauderdale received a call of the lieutenant
announcing that they were lost.
• A seaplane, left to their research, did not return either.
• The cause of the disappearance would be tie to the lieutenant Taylor
who used to fly from his intuition.

10. USS Cyclops
• One of the first stories connected to the Triangle legend and the most
famous ship lost.
• In 1918, the USS Cyclops which is a boat, disapeared with its 306
passengers. This is the heaviest loss of the Navy except fight.
• On March the 4th, the ship started in Baltimore to Brazil. It will never
reappear.
• The most known hypothesis is the captain’s treason. Indeed, he might
delivered the ship to the German.
