Take inventory of your habits by writing down daily activities
Limit texting, e-mail, and internet time… especially when you are
working but…
Take time-outs where you are allowed short increments of time to
check Facebook, text friends, and otherwise relax
Listen to your body; don’t force yourself to stay up late and study–
retention is decreased when you’re tired, lethargic, or just not that
into it
1. Schedule “thinking” (cerebral) tasks such as reading, writing and
problem solving, for morning and evening.
2. Save “active” behavior such as fieldwork, lab work, exercise and
errands for mid-afternoon when you are feeling more alert.
**Obviously, if you are a morning or night person, know this, and
switch accordingly.
