OUTSIDE ALCALA’
First meeting outside Alcala’ Museum New friends

4. Let’s start. The lessons are held inside the best hotel in Alcalà, El
Bedel, in the townheart. This is the course timetable. Lessons
from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.
5. The course is led by teacher Sonia, tutor of my group. Mrs
Sonia teaches English in Alcalà.
6. Teacher Sonia explains how to use ICT in our teaching
She showed us lots of apps and softwares such as Edmodo, Socrative, Kahoot,
underlying the necessity for contemporary teachers to use technologies in teaching.
She also recommended the importance of collaborative work.
7. Collaborative Dulcineas at work
As we are in Alcala de Henares, Cervantes’ hometown, we have decided to be called
Dulcineas. We are working on a webquest on a crosscurricular project on
friendship: students after a wbquest prepare a book in which they tel about
friendship through various literary genres. (In the background Dr. Fernando
Garcia, the course manager)
