advises and helps somebody with less experience over a period of

Mentorship refers to a personal developmental relationship in which
a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps a less
experienced or less knowledgeable person (Wikipedia.org).
3. Mentoring is defined as a ‘‘one-on-one” relationship between a less
experienced and a more experienced person that is pro-typically
intended to advance the personal and professional growth of the less
experienced individual.
Mentoring entails informal communication, usually face-to-face and during a
sustained period of time, between a people who is perceived to have greater
relevant knowledge, wisdom, or experience
(the mentor) and a person who is perceived
to have less (the protégé).

Be obedient to your mentor’s advice.
Have good manners especially when you are with them.

Send gifts to them no matter how little e.g. birthday,

Be sensitive to the wellbeing of
your mentor(s).
Show to them you care.
Ask questions
Assist them to do their work.
Do not lie to them.
Pray for them and their family always.
