2. Outfit Plan
For the Digipak I want the artist to be
in really casual, relaxed clothing as I
think this will best reflect the genre of
music. Because the artist is within the
target audience age range, this will
make his very ‘fashionable’ style more
appealing. I have chosen my artist to
wear a mixture of different ‘stylish’
brands; such as, Carhartt, Vans, Nike
and Adidas. As they are all very ‘in’
brands. I chose for him to wear very
minimal colour as I want the Digipak to
be have a very minimal colour scheme,
much like the music video. The only
thing with colour is the jacket, however
I think the orange/tan colour will
really fit in with the style of the artist
and genre of music.

3. Location Plan
For this shoot I want to have a background
that is almost scruffy and an urban
environment, however with some tress
and elegant scenery. I chose this location,
which is right by the canal; as there are
trees, as well as stairs and walls, which I
am planning to use for some of the photos.
I’m planning to get the artist to sit down
on the walls stairs and get him to have
really relaxed body language, as I think this
will be most appealing for the Digipak and
fit the genre and be more appealing
to the target audience. I’m going to make sure the artist looks into the
camera for most of the photos, as I think this will be really engaging. I’m also
planning to experiment with taking the photos from a low angle, so he is
looking down on the camera. I’m hoping it will make him appear as though he
has importance, rather than him looking dominating and intimidating.
