8. Routine:
Timing: 5 minutes
Activity description and instructions as they will be said to students (include direct speech):
-The teacher will say hello to the students and ask them one by one: How do you feel today?
Scaffolding strategies
-Use gestures while speaking and miming the feelings to help students to remember the different
emotions.
Transition comment to link each stage of the lesson with the next one:
“Ok, it’s great to see you all, let’s begin with today’s lesson!”
Warm up and presentation:
Timing : 5 minutes
Activity description and instructions as they will be said to students (include direct speech):
-The teacher will show them different clothes and encourage them to say the name of the
different clothes aloud by asking them “What is this?” Then she will explain them that they are
going to play a game.
Scaffolding strategies:
-Repeat the questions twice and then give an example “is it a scarf or a mitten?”
-Use gestures while speaking.

Great! Now, let’s play a game!
Development (Practice and Production):
Activity one: Bamboozle game
Timing : 10 minutes
Activity description and instructions as they will be said to students (include direct speech):
-The teacher will divide the students into two groups “group A” and "group B”.
-Then the teacher will explain to the students that only one member of each group is going to
answer the question. The member who answers first and correctly is the winner.
Scaffolding strategies:
-The teacher will write the names of the different groups in the chat to help the students to
remember to what team they belong.

-Use the “wheel of names” in order to decide who is going to be the next one.

Activity 2: “Let’s draw Froggy”
Timing : 15 minutes
Activity description and instructions as they will be said to students (include direct speech):
-The teacher will share the screen with the students and will show them the picture of Froggy
naked. She will explain them that they have to follow the instructions and draw Froggy wearing
his new clothes. She will read the instructions twice.
Scaffolding strategies:
-Using gestures while reading.
-Miming the action of the different clothes while reading.
- Ask them is Froggy wearing a red coat or a yellow coat?
Closure:
Timing : 5 minutes
Activity description and instructions as they will be said to students (include direct speech):
-The teacher will show them the picture of “Froggy” with his new clothes and will encourage them
to show their productions to see if the they were able to follow the instructions.
-The teacher will read the instructions one more time, but this time will point every clothes in
the drawing of Froggy.
-then, the teacher will say “Ok everybody, it’s time to say goodbye, bye- bye”
