This document contains summaries of several children's poems written as couplets. The first poem by Joey describes spending the summer in a pod and turning into paper. The second by Zainab talks about enjoying a fun summer running and skipping. Additional couplets include finding a dime and buying a chime, going to the river to eat liver, and getting in a fight and having to stay the night. The last excerpt is a poem by Bruce Lansky about having measles, mumps, and other ailments.

Spent my Summer Vacation in a Pod. I turned into a

 I found a dime so I brought a chime.
 River Liver
 I go to the river to eat some very good
liver.
 Fight Night
 I got in in fight so I had to stay the night.
