It is a question of regional usage but according to The Grammarist tire is used mainly in the US and Canada: Tire and tyre both mean a covering for a wheel, usually made of rubber. Tire is the preferred spelling in the U.S. and Canada. Tyre is preferred in most varieties of English outside North America.
2. Introduction
✓ Came into existence in 1963 in LANDHI KORANGI and commenced
its production in 1964
✓ The company was established by General Tyre international Corporation
(GTIC) of USA with a total capacity of only 120,000 tyres per anum
✓ GTIC Sold 90% of their shares to the present owners M/s Bibojee Services
Ltd in 1977 and retained 10% of its ownership. In 1985, the company
completed a major expansion, which took the capacity to 600,000 tyres
anually.
✓ It has four market segments to cater to. These are:
The Original Equipment Manufacturers (Vehicle Assemblers).
The Replacement or the After Market.
Government Departments / Institutions.
The Export Market
✓All tyres produced by us are covered with warranty against manufacturing
defects.
3. Certification

8. Raw Materials
Every tire may look similar, but tires are so diverse in terms of their internal
structure, rubber constituents, shape and design that it would even be possible
to say that every tire is different. Each tire is made up of more than 100 kinds
of materials, and can be regarded as a combination of high technologies or as
a product of the latest chemical and engineering research.
9.
10. This process mixes the raw materials such as natural
rubber, synthetic rubber , carbon black, sulphur and zinc
oxide, and the compounding ingredients. After mixing
using a computer-controlled mixer, the rubber material is
knead with a roll before being sent to the subsequent
material manufacturing process.
Mixing
11. Material Manufacturing
Process
This process fabricates various parts of the tire separately. These
include the carcass that is the body of the tire , the belt that
reinforces the carcass, the bead that joins the tire and wheel, and
the tread that is the tire part that comes into direct contact with
the road surface. Each of these parts is composed of a core
material such as steel or fibre and a special rubber compound for
coating the core material
12.
13. Building process
This process assembles the tire parts that have been separately fabricated
in the previous process into a single tire form using a building machine.
The tire formed thus is referred to as the green tire (raw tire)
14. This process places the green tire in a mould and, compressing by
bladder, applies high-temperature, high-pressure vapour to the mould
from the inner side. The heat and pressure cause the rubber and sulphur
molecules to bond, so that the rubber in the green tire acquires a higher
elasticity and durability. During this process the final shape of the tire
and the pattern on the tread (tread pattern) are also formed by the
mould. It is the moment that the vulcanized tire comes out of the mould
that the tire product is completed.
Vulcanization Process
15. This process begins with the visual and physical inspections of the
completed tire by the quality control personnel. The tires passing these
inspections are then subjected to stringent checks using advanced
instruments that include balance measurement, uniformity
measurement and X-ray machines. After passing strict inspections under
YRC standard, all tires are then dispatched to the market and are
guaranteed as being of a highly reliable quality
