Nitish Garg is a graduate student at Duke University studying energy and the president of the Duke MEMP Energy Club. His research focuses on the energy use patterns of multi-family buildings across different climate zones in the United States. He has a background in mechanical engineering and previously worked as a project engineer for GE Power on large scale power projects internationally. Nitish is passionate about sustainable energy and interested in optimization and energy efficiency.

16. Nitish Garg is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from PEC University of
Technology, India and is currently pursuing MEM degree with concentration in energy
at Duke University. He previously served as Project Engineer for GE Power. Over his 3
years of work experience, he worked for large scale power projects across India,
Bangladesh and USA. He is passionate about sustainable energy and interested in
working toward optimization of generation mix and energy efficiency.
