3. Introduce tourism in turkey came to the forefront during these years like
same others countries became from tourism is very important for
economy of the country. The big part from tourism income (735 billion)
comes from mass tourism. Turkey ranks as 11th place in the world
tourism, in terms of tourism income in 9th place. Mass tourism gets a
great significance in all worlds. In our days developed countries have a
high of economies leave of economies wealth which give repellently to
leave, easily regardless of their. Socio – economy states this is a real
reason behind the beam of mass tourism in the world. Accommodation
facilities have for people of all levels of society are being building, the
middle class started mass tourism new places are discovered and
transportation opportunities have lead to increase tourism.

4. Mass tourism brings a lot of changes such as environment pollution, effects
of migration and use of plateaus for different purposes. For alternative
tourism shows, that countries can't refuse from tourism incomes in the face
of the economy rules of the country in this case is better to decrease risk of
mass tourism. The main point of alternative tourism, that to not destroy
mass tourism, but to show more suitable tourism. The tourism activities on
the earth started with "merely curiosity". It was based on people's need to
see interest what they have, everything is started from this and after time
expectations of "interest groups" for a great income lead to mass tourism
and the greatest way to make money. The most important for nations to
take strict regulations and rules to not meet with destructive effect of mass
tourism, they try to protect natural environment, historical places and the
cultures of people. There effects can be classified as @ positive and
negative effects or classified according to the areas they are observed. In
this study is to find effects to Manavgat area from mass tourism.

6. Manavgat area located in Antalya, Turkey. Manavgat with 64 km
of hot, sunny coastline, a lot of sandy beaches with long River
and waterfall, well-protected countryside including mountains
and forests. Manavgat has an important tourist industry. There is
much different accommodation, historical sites, rivers, streams
and caves.

7. With an introduction of mass tourism activity in Manavgat there is effects
positive and also negative. With positive effect there is growing economy,
increasing income give positive effect for building of infrastructure,
increase modern house, increase modern life style of people. Negative
effects give environmental pollution, pollution of beaches and increase
buildings instead of nature.

8. The greatest positive effect of tourism in general is decrease
economical imbalance between regions. There is a perspective for
people to find jobs in tourism facilities. Besides migrations from the
rural areas migration from nearby countries like Antalya, Konya etc.
Income level before was so low, but when tourism activities started,
economical improvements became better. As a result some agricultural
area was changed for tourism facilities. People every time creating
something new to bring more tourists and in a same time they doing
this for take more money. Income per tourist in Manavgat is 750$, the
country makes about 1 156 200 000$ income from foreign tourists.
Because of this income tourism is indispensable source of income.

9. After mass tourism because it has a
good income infrastructure, building
roads, sanitation, electrification,
communications system, liquid and
solid waste separation facilities
improved. The area is visited about 1,
5 million foreign tourists; beaches
solid waste a great amount of liquid
waste is produced.
INCREASE A NUMBER OF MODERN HOUSES: before people were thinking
how to make money for feet them self and their family and they could
build a house just with a minimum needs. In result because economy was
growth from mass tourism, people start build and move to the modern
houses.

10. Tourism has an effect on cultural elements in Manavgat too. Tourism give
effects population structure, traditional life style, the modern life style,
changes in occupational types and local values.
TOURISM EFFECT ON POPULATIONS: with tourism a great amount of
migration from outside. Many people emigrated to Manavgat from rural
areas to find a job. This situation leads to changes in general population
structure of the country. The gender distribution in the population is the
most significant difference. Tourism was the reason to enter a
modernization process, and the family structure was also modernized.
Families with many children before tourism were replaced by families with
few children after the emergence of tourism. Tourism had also a great
effect on urbanization. Before Manavgat was a small agricultural town, after
tourism came city improvent of tourism in the region. C

11. TOURISM EFFECT ON MODERN LIFE STYLE AND CHANGE IN
TRADITIONAL LIFE AND VALUES: when people accepted modern life
style without giving up their customs and traditions, in generally a
desirable life style. Tourism is the important part of globalization in all
dimensions, as a role plays in the globalization of the culture of an area.
The modern building shows too how people adopted the new modern
style of life. The economical improvement tourism shows how standards
of life people and their requirements changed in this way. Before
tourism the local people mostly were far from getting a high and
qualified education, going to abroad, leading a luxurious life and
moderate time for themselves like educated and knowledgeable people.
However, together with tourism local people started to travel and
discover the world.

12. Some people bring
ideas to develop in
their area from other
countries. Together
with tourism traditional
consumption models
were replaced with
modern consumption
models.
Rural areas where traditional life style started to became a part of
tourism with "plateau tourism" and traditional life style as alternative
tourism activities. Our evaluations shown that in this study area
differences have taken place in the social, religious and ethical
perspectives after tourism.

13. TOURISM EFFECTS ON TRANSHUMANCE: Earlier Manavgat was places
where semi-nomadic people carried out their animal breeding activities.
After tourism, most of the places turned for agricultural activities and
recreation sport.

14. When tourism give changed in economy there occur environmental
changes. In this case the effect mostly negative. During the construction
of tourism facilities and highways large number of sand dunes and
beaches were destroyed.
THE EFFECT OF TOURISM ON CITY: tourism has brought significant
changes to Manavgat, such as urban structure. City center is the
organization center for tourism activities, there is a big pressure in
tourism season on Manavgat city center. In this period too much traffic
and people in general it gives this pressure. In Manavgat there is a
bridge, it was just one bridge, but because of many people they built
second bridge and in result traffic in center city became smaller, but
traffic in the city center still crowed

15. Immigrant workers became more after the big wave of tourism. Because of
tourism industry is developed well now income increase caused some
unplanned urbanization in the city. They provide new houses with better
view to the city. With new developments in the city planned environment-
friendly urbanization understanding.

16. THE EFFECTS OF TOURISM ON WATER POLLUTION. In Manavgat water
pollution is a rare case, this is became liquid waste treatment facilities.
These liquid waste treatment facilities were built to prevent water
pollution in Manavgat, but still water pollution has a little extent. Solid
waste pollution - In Manavgat solid waste pollution there is but not in a
big level. For this the government of this area established three solid
wastes.

17. Manavgat compare with others areas in Antalya have the highest
number of hotels beds. This mean income of tourism is high and
tourism is important source for the country, which affects all sectors and
helps of new sectors from tourism income the infrastructure problems
have been solved. Together with tourism the manaugat open a modern
city look with an open society. After tourism, family with many children
instead of this family became with the few children, and poem
traditional life style to a modern life style. Also other dimensions of the
society were changed. People increasing habit of spending is only one
of them. As a choice some tourists facilities some dunes and beaches
were harmed. Government should do something about this. Before the
service environmental pollution was come down with the efforts of the
directors of tourism and local authorities and environmental disasters
were prevented.
