3. Mary Shelley.
Mary Shelley was born in London, in 1797. She
was the second child of the feminist
philosopher, educator, and writer Mary
Wollstonecraft, and the first child of the
philosopher, novelist, and journalist William
Godwin. He met the young poet Percy Bysshe
Shelley in May 1814 and two months later he left
England with him and in December 1816, the
couple was married.
4. MARY SHELLEY AND FRANKENSTEIN.
Shelley had travelled in the region of Geneva, where much
of the story takes place, and the topics of galvanism and
other similar occult ideas were themes of conversation
among her companions, particularly her future husband,
Percy Shelley. The storyline emerged from a dream.
Mary, Percy, Lord Byron, and John Polidori decided to have
a competition to see who could write the best horror story.
After thinking for days about what her possible storyline
could be, Shelley dreamt about a scientist who created life
and was horrified by what he had made. She then wrote
Frankenstein. finally Mary dies the 1 of february after many
diseases.
5. J.K Rowling.
J.K. Rowling’s real name is Joanna Rowling. She was born in Yate, U.K.
in 1965. She studied French and Classics at the University of Exeter.
She is famous for her Harry Potter novels, as well as for the fortune
she suddenly earned with them. Her first book, Harry Potter and the
Philisopher Stone, was published in 1997. The next ones to follow
were Harry potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry potter and the
Prisoner od Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the
Deathly Hallows. Appart from the Harry Potter saga, she wrote
Fantastic Beat and where to find them, Quidditch through the Ages,
and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The Harry Potter series was made
into 8 movies, one per each of the 6 first books and 2 for Harry Potter
and the Deathly Hallow. There are also a few videogames based on
the books, as well as a theme park in Orlando.
6. Emily W. Sunstein.
Emily Weisberg Sunstein (April 28, 1924 - April
21, 2007) she was a biographer, writer and a social
American activist. Before beginning her writing
career, Sunstein was active in civil affairs. In 1989, his
first book, Mary Shelley: Romance and Reality, was
published to critical acclaim. She won the Modern
Language Association Prize for Independent Scholars
in 1989. She moved away from politics and started to
enjoy other passions such as writing, collecting art and
horticulture.
7. Agatha Christie.
Agatha Mary was born on September 15, 1890 in England,
was the daughter of a captain and since childhood he lived
with his maternal aunt. When he was 16, he attended a
school in Paris to study singing, dancing and piano.
As an adult, married on the son of her stepfather,
Frederick Alvah. He began to write his first stories during
World War II. His first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles,
was published in 1920 and in 1922, his second publication,
the mysterious Mr. Brown. He died of natural causes on
January 12, 1976 at age 85.
