This event builds on the PMI literary cannon relating to Storytelling in Project
Management. The event is part of a PMI UK series to support National
Storytelling Week (Jan 30th – Feb 5 2022).
Tunde will be discussing: Skills Development - How to learn any skill, Master it
and Lead others.
An insight into the four stages of learning and how tools, mentors,
volunteering and teaching others can increase your level of competence.
Maureen will be discussing: I love chocolate…!
Keen to talk about something that is completely unrelated to my research
area and expertise, I decided to choose to talk about a very different topic
and one of my great passion – chocolate. Chocolate (and not just any
chocolate!) is something that I adore and eat everyday. I love to share it
with my friends and I love to talk about it in great details.
Greg will be discussing: Don’t loose your head, project management lessons
from history, with King Louis XIV of France
Better known for Versailles and the beautification of French architecture
and culture, King Louis XIV of France was an ultimate quality mad sponsor.
Versailles alone costing around $6bn in 1774 (circa $120bn+ in today’s
money!)
Don’t loose your head.

STRATEGIC PLANNING, DIGITALLY.
As we continue to deal with the pandemic and wonder about what
the world of work is going to look like, leaders in organisations are
struggling with this question: How are we going to survive, recover
and importantly, grow? Leaders know they need to approach
strategy-making differently from before, that what worked (or think
worked) before is not good enough.
With a hybrid workplace and highly mobile workforce, the challenge
for leaders is to approach strategic planning fundamentally
differently. By this, we mean approaching the development of new
strategies in a creative, collaborative, and comprehensive manner.
Come to this participative webinar to learn about an innovative and
pragmatic strategy-making process that embraces digital. This isn’t
about building digital into your business strategy – this is about using
digital to build your strategy, as well as leveraging the latest in
strategic thinking and collaborative decision-making.

BUSINESS RESILIENCE FRAMEWORK - A NEW APPROACH FOR
BETTER PROJECTS AND SUSTAINABLE VALUE DELIVERY.
Why does classic strategic planning fail in the VUCA world?
A new paradigm focused on Business Resilience
Business Resilience Framework and how it facilitates
successful delivery of the right projects at the right pace
How can one use this approach in their own organisation?
In this session we will look at business resilience as a strategic
capability, enabling organisations to navigate the increasingly
complex and unpredictable market environment. We introduce
Business Resilience Framework, a new comprehensive guidance
for conducting business transformations triggered by external
market conditions or internal organisational needs.
The framework presents a holistic approach for efficiently
selecting and delivering business adaptation and
transformation projects and programmes, sustainably and at
pace.
