Many cinema critics consider that a particular scene of the movie played a
very important role to uplift the image of the state(X) it was portraying. X had
been marred with associations of terrorism, insurgency etc in the previous
decade. But with the tenderness of this scene and it's visual cinematography
along with artistic setup, it highlighted the strength of X: agriculture.
According to a few, the dominant colour of the background represents the
arrival of Basant or Spring. This famous scene has been recreated many
times in spoof videos, other forms of media.
What are we talking about?

X, a movie released in 2011, was widely regarded as one of the finest movies,
reviewed by audience as “giving a watching experience like a ride full of
adrenaline rush”. The success of the movie is taught as a course in the
management colleges of the country Y, where it was shot. The marketing
course gives example of that country as a product and attributes how the
film had increased tourism by 65 percent there.
Moments before this scene, goofy and mischievous scene occurs between the
characters, it was regarding their basic objective behind doing that
particular activity they were doing, but in reality, the shooting of that scene
proved completely ironical. Reinforcing the fact, what happens on the theatre
screen is sometimes not the truth, in fact it is completely opposite.

One crucial element central to the theme of this 2000s movie was the
involvement of 1000s-10000s of extras. Also the composition of these extras
was to reflect diversity of the regions in display. It was a mammoth task to
get so many extras to come in unison and give desired effect the director
wanted which was to show jubilation at the winning moments of the
protagonist.To achieve this, the director played the lead actor's previously hit
numbers (songs) to keep these extras in spirit. Their reaction to these songs
was recorded and thus the body language wanted on the screen was

X, film released in later half of 2010's decade, was initially asked 89 cuts by
censor board. Filmmakers and critics raised objections with few claiming that
censor board decision is biased considering the major political event
following year. Finally, court dismissed the objections by the censor board
and ordered one scene showing a character urinating into a crowd to be
removed, and a disclaimer to be changed.
Earlier, the censor board in their objections mentioned that they thought the
movie portrayed Y in a bad light. The proposed cuts included removing every
mention of the word Y from the film, deleting swear words and also a number
of other words.

with unwelcome calls and text messages. This happened not long after Dr.

parent company after its own popular peppermint product Star. To add a zing
to their product promotion, they roped in an upcoming South Indian model for

was a very simple reason for this - the crew of X didn't want to break off the continuity of
the lead actor’ s hair. At the end of the movie, the star is seen sporting long hair and at
the beginning of the film, his character is seen in short hair. Reportedly, the crew didn't
want the lead to wear a wig but style his own hair to make it all look natural.

watch much of Southern movies, the person will know these lines. But
surprisingly, the superstar who is known for this tagline never used it, not
