Implementation* and Sustainability
*Defined as implementation that has integrity (fit) for your school and
includes the major and essential elements of the initiative
IN THE BREAKOUT SESSION
1. Use the focusing guide to take stock of school practices that
support HIFIS * (*See definition on previous slide)
2. Use the graphic to help you (see handout and poster size
version) to talk about where and how your school has
strengths you can build upon to support HIFIS*.
3. Use the Framework worksheet to identify and plan for ways
you can strengthen Focus, Capacity, Alignment, and Results for
a specific renewal or change initiative**
