1. How does it work?
The SMS offers clients real-time tracking of the Preferential
Procurement scorecard by automatically matching supplier
spend to the B-BBEE scorecards of those suppliers, which are
sourced from Mpowered’s vast Beagle Scorecard Database.
The database is easily accessible via a public website, and is
seeded daily by some of the nation’s largest Verification
Agencies, consulting firms, and the general public. Using the
SMS’s convenient bulk e-mail function, suppliers are instructed
to access the site directly, and load their scorecards into a
client-branded version of the database. This replaces the
burden of manually requesting, collecting and filing B-BBEE
scorecards with a simplified process that takes only minutes
for each supplier to complete.
Users can then generate reports on any aspect of their suppli-
ers’ B-BBEE compliance, and address shortfalls in their score-
card accordingly. With strategic scenario planning, clients
can assesses the impact of changes to their suppliers’ B-BBEE
status, or adjustments in the company’s spending patterns.
