within. I need to take images of places around Salford
City College. After I’ve taken them I’m going to edit
them in software and show them in the magazine.

college with multiple
campuses these campuses are
made up of: Walkden, Eccles,
Pendleton, City and Future
Skills. Here you can study
loads of different courses such
like : ICT, P.E, Business studies
and A-levels are optional.

18. 1.6 File Formats
A Jpeg is a format for compressing image file that
can’t be changed unless you change it from the
original file.
Jpeg are good but if compressed to much you can lose
some of the image to pixel due to much zoom of the
compressed image .

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format

systems. Each PDF file sorts every document to a flat

A PSD is Photoshop files have default file extension
as .PSD, which stands for "Photoshop Document." A
PSD file stores an image with support for most imaging

be under contract and ask for percentage of your
earning for using there copyright if you copy right
illegally you can be faced with a fine unto you all
your net worth if you have sold any products with
there copy right logo, video or music file.
because my images are my copy right so I don’t have
pay anyone because I own them images because I
took them with a camera.

Check that your final images meet the original
client brief and describe why you think it
meets your client’s needs.
Is this image in the correct file format? Yes the
instructor specifically told me to use JPEG as
my final image formatting used for the article
Is it high enough quality? Yes because I used a
HD camera and my pictures don’t disappoint
Do the images promote Salford? Yes in the
greatest standard possible
