2. Step 1: Complete SDI Enrollment Form
You will receive a confirmation email and SDI will begin building
your Academic/Degree Plan and TA Invoice.
When your documents are complete, we will email them to
you, along with direction on your next steps.
Please save these documents to your computer.

3. Step 2: Create your GoArmyEd.com Account and
select the “Request TA Access” smartlink. Follow
the steps to be considered for activation.
If you have already created a
GoArmyEd account, you may skip
this step.

4. Step 3: Upload Your TA Invoice and Academic Plan
into your GoArmyEd student account.
Select the “My Education Record” Smart Link.
Select the “eFile” tab.
Complete required fields and select “Browse” to find your file.
Select “Upload File.”

your email from us as a reference.

6. Step 5: When Asked to upload another course,
select “Yes.”
Repeat all above steps until first session is completed
(MOD 2; 4 credits and MOD 2 LAB; 1.34 credits)

7. Step 6: Look for an approval email from
GoArmyEd.
This may take a few days.

8. Step 7: Log back into GoArmyEd to print your
Army Tuition Assistance Authorization Form.
Select the “Request TA” Smart Link, which will take you to the
“Select Classes to Add” screen.
Select “View All TA Requests (bottom left).
Leave all the fields blank and press the “Search” button.

9. Step 7 (cont’d)
Select the title of the approved class you wish to view (along the
bottom).
Select the box next to the class under “Print Select” and press the
“Print TA Form” button.
Select “Click here to view the report” link.
Print the report or click the “Save” option to save it to your
computer so that you can attach it to an email.

10. Step 8: Email the TA Authorization Form to Pam
Rogers at pamr@sdi.edu or fax it to (480) 314-2138.
Your TA authorization will be acknowledged and your first shipment of
materials will be sent.
