Diversity and its problems

I am going to talk about the diversity in school and how
it is a problem that needs to be fixed. There is a lot of
great articles on how to fix this and how it is a bad thing
too. I will show how it is a bad thing for not just the
students but for the whole community. Diversity means
Diversity in education represents a broad range of ideas
and initiatives to create learning environments that are
safe, inclusive and equitable for as many identities as
possible. Recognizing, fostering and developing
sensitivity to the needs of people in various identity
categories are primary aims of educational diversity. By
seeing this definition, it makes you think what we can do
and make sure this not being done at your schools. See
what programs can help you and your school stop this
problem from happening in your school or community.
I am going to talk about the diversity in school and how
it is a problem that needs to be fixed.
There is a lot of great articles on how to fix this and how
it is a bad thing too. I will show how it is
a bad thing for not just the students but for the whole
community. Diversity means Diversity in
education represents a broad range of ideas and initiatives

developing sensitivity to the needs of people in various
identity categories are primary aims of
educational diversity. By seeing this definition, it makes
you think what we can do and make
sure this not being done at your schools. See what
programs can help you and your school stop
this problem from happening in your school or
community.
The reason I chose diversity is it is a major problem in a
lot of places and it is very wrong. So
here is some of the main reasons I chose this horrible
thing. I found some articles that talk about
this and I have some pictures that will show diversity in
education. There is a lot of things that
make it such a problem like the students being pick on for
being from the wrong side of the
tracks, different color, disabled and from another country.
The social justice issue is that the
students are always having problems with all of these
things. The circumstances surrounding
how they are treated and how they deal with the diversity.
All the things that a teacher or
students will deal with and how they think it should be
fixed.
It is an issue that a lot people have to deal with in
education. It is effecting education
because the students are being mistreated by other
students for not being from the good side of
town. What I mean by this the students from places like
the trailer park and the projects
apartments. The other students make fun of them for
being poor and not able to get all the great
things the students who have money can get. The students
from other countries and of other
colors are being treated different from other students.
They are told they can never be like the
students who are from this country. This a major problem
I have seen in a lot of schools I have
worked at. In my school district there is a lot of foreigners
in it and not a lot of interpreters’
there. But with all these problems going on they all still
get good grades and are very high on the
academic standards lists
Another thing that is a problem and is very easy to solve
is dealing with Disabled
students. We have a lot of them in our school district and
almost all teachers know how to deal
with the disabled students. That helps a lot because they
all know what to do if there is a
situation they all know how to fix it. The Superintendent
of the district is a former Special Needs
teacher a longtime ago. So he makes sure they are treated
right and are given whatever they need
to succeed in education for them.
How we change these social justice problems are very
simply. So here we go! I would first
make a policy that deals with the dealing with the
students who are considered to be from the
wrong side of the tracks. Have them be able to take things
home that will help them get their
work done and if they don’t have internet make a deal
with a business close to their house that
will help these students get the job done. Know if they
don’t have a business close by the school
district can see if they can put up a internet tower close by
that if you don’t have the code you
can’t use it. The code changes a lot and the students sign
a paper if they give out the code could
be suspended for giving it out.
Then the policy for the students who are from another
country and have problems with learning
English. So the school needs to have a teacher that speaks
their language or if they don’t have a
teacher who can then they need to hire an interpreter. If
they do this they can help the students
and also help the teachers learn how to teach them better.
Then there is the policy that should be made for the
homosexual students and how to show the
other students that it is alright to be different. Have the
students take a class on how to deal with
homosexual students and that they are not bad people. If a
student takes the class they can sign of
saying they took it and understand it. So if the student who
signs this says or does something
towards the homosexual students they can be suspended or
expelled from school.
The dealing with disability students and how easy it is to deal
with them. First have another
class where the students learn on how to deal with disabled
students and how they are just like
them. I know there is a lot of policies already in place to help
the disabled students. But they also
need as much help as anyone in the school. Like in my school
district they let the special needs
students do job all around the school so the other students see
them. This also helps the special
need student learn a job for when they get out of school. We
keep the special needs students up
to the age of twenty-two years old. So all school should have
things like my school for the
special needs students.
The major problems with all these policies that I
mentioned are that is not all school districts
have the funding for them. This is a bad thing because
those districts will far behind in society
and in how their students survive outside their schools.
Having the states make sure that all
schools are getting the same amount of funding as the
others is the hardest thing to deal with. A
lot of states or districts have two or three schools that are
considered to be better than the others
and they get more attention than the other schools. Thank
God my district worries about all of
our schools and make sure they all are on the same page
of learning to all students. It is also
awesome school district because the principles and
assistant principles all come down to help
with the special needs students.
Talk to students’ parents about these problems and have
the parents sign a paper saying they
understand the problems. Also that they talked to their
children about it too. Since the parents
and the students have read the papers to show they
understand the student can be suspended or
expelled if they break the code of conduct of this
problem. The students should also have to sign
that same paper too. If a parent refuses to sign the paper
tell them their student still has to sign it
to come to school. That student will also have to go to the
classes on it too. By making sure that
this is done it will help the school district show they do
care about their students’ problems. I
think this will solve a lot of problems and it will also help
the parents to understand their student
better too if that student is part of these groups of
students.
So in conclusion I am going to say about this subject and
how it should not be allowed in school
or anywhere in the great United States of America. I saw
an article today that was a great
example of how this problem is in our school systems.
The story is about a high school
basketball game in Indiana. The teams are Andrean High
School which is private Catholic
School and Bishop Noll Institute high school. Here is the
link and the pictures too.
Catholic Private School Taunts Latino Basketball Rivals
with Donald Trump Masks,
Chants ‘Build A Wall’ The articles say this “The report
indicates that students from Andrean
High School put on Donald Trump masks as they chanted
“build a wall, build a wall” to the
opposing team which was made up mostly of Latino
students. The students allegedly held
additional signs that read “ESPN Deportes.” “

How can this be allowed and how can the parents of
these stupid students be the stupid too. So
why do we as a society condone this kind of stuff and let
the people in power do this too. Not
mentioning any names Mr. Donald Trump.
