4. What is The Endocrine System?
The body’s chemical messenger system is called the endocrine
system. The endocrine system includes glands- pituitary, thyroid,
parathyroid, adrenals, pancreas, ovaries, & testes. The glands
secrete chemicals in the bloodstream, which carries them
throughout the body. These chemicals are known as hormones.
