Real name: Anneliese Marie Frank
Born in Frankfurt on 12th June 1929
She died in early March 1945 at the age of 15 in Bergen- Belsen
concentration camp
3. ABOUT HER CHILDHOOD
She moved from Germany to Amsterdam in 1933
By the beginning of 1940, she was trapped with her family in
Amsterdam
5. PRIVATE LIFE
She lived with her father Otto, mother Edith and her sister Margot
They lived in the hidden room of Otto Frank’s office building
After two years of hiding, they were betrayed and transported to
concentration camps
6. EDUCATION
She went to school in Amsterdam with her sister Margot
At their new school they made a large circle of Jewish and non-
Jewish friends
They had to leave their Montessori school to attend the Jewish
Lyceum
