Social media use is exploding on campuses across the globe and, unsurprisingly, is the first source of information for your stakeholders during an emergency/crisis.
This presentation outlines how Illinois State University partnered with Epicenter Media & Training to create the first SMART (Social Media Analysis & Response Team) on ISU's Bloomington/Normal campus by engaging in a multi-year training/exercise plan designed and customized by the U-SMART team at Epicenter Media & Training.
The SMART(SM) program involves planning workshops, recruitment & planning resources, training sessions (basic, advanced, and specialty topics), and MEP-sponsored exercises (tabletop, functional, and full-scale supplements). It all starts with a 1-day workshop that builds the foundation for SMART to thrive at your organization!
To learn more about building a SMART at your higher education institution (U-SMART), healthcare facility (H-SMART), corporate campus (C-SMART), or other entity, please reach out to smart@epimetra.com
