3. Yahweh God
said:
It is not good for
man to be alone.
I will make for
him a suitable
helper.

4. Then Yahweh God formed
from the earth all the beasts of
the field and all the birds of

5. and He brought
them to Man to see
what he would call
them and whatever
Man called every
living creature,
that was its name.

6. So Man gave names to
all the cattle, the birds of
the air and to every beast of

not a helper suitable
for Man and like
him among them.

come over Man

approached Jesus and

“What command did
Moses give you?”
They replied: “Moses
allowed a husband to
write a bill of divorce
and dismiss his wife. ”

43. Then Jesus
answered:
“It was because of your
hardness of heart and
stubbornness that
Moses wrote you this

44. But “from the beginning
of creation God made
them male and female.

45. And it is for
this reason
that a man
leaves his
father and
mother and
is joined
to his wife

46. and the two
become one body.”

47. So they are no
longer two but one

48. Therefore, what God
has put together, let
no man bring apart.”

49. When they
were indoors,
the disciples
again
questioned
Jesus about
this and
Jesus said:

50. “Whoever leaves
his wife and marries
another is guilty of
adultery against his wife

51. and if a woman
leaves her husband and
marries another, she
too is guilty of
adultery.”

52. Then the people brought
to Him children that He
may touch and
bless them, but
the disciples
rebuked them
and sent
them away.

53. Jesus, upon seeing this,
became very angry and
said:
“Let the little
children
come to Me
and do not
stop them

54. for the kingdom
of God belongs
to such as these!

55. Truly I tell you,
whoever does not
receive the
Kingdom
of God like
a child shall
not enter it!”

children in His arms,
embraced

Hands on
